Footings, day TWO

I am SOOO glad I rented that machine to do the majority of the digging.  We got a slow stat today, but actually had some energy to do some damage.

Most of the day today we spent cleaning up the footings, running our string lines again, and attacking that crazy tap root from the tree I removed a few moths ago.

After the day was done, grades for the bottom of our footings were very close to where they needed to be, and the tap root REMAINED.  This thing is the new enemy.
