Finishing up the Siding

With the rough framing inspection completed, I was able to cover the front shear wall with siding.  A panel was removed from the house, and a new panel installed to bridge the gap.  This will dramatically help tie the garage to the house.  No strap was necessary.

I also managed to get the chimney extended.  Two 24" sections is all that was needed.  I will also fabricate and install braces for the chimney.  These will tie the chimney to the garage roof.
