Installing the South Wall
Once the windows were caulked, and the siding painted with finish paint, the wall was boomed into place. I used one of our boom trucks from work to do the job.
Booming this wall was a 2-part deal due to the length of the garage, and the reach of the boom. We first had to lift the wall and move it to the East side of the garage, brace it in place upright, then remove the riggings and drive the truck onto the slab. Once the truck was on the slab, installing the wall was quite painless.
This is the first time I have ever built like this. And after doing just one wall, I don't think Ill ever go back to the "standard" way of building. Building on the flat is VERY efficient.
After the wall was in place and secured, we started cutting materials for the East wall. Tomorrow the East wall gets assembled!
