Building the Stairwell Part 4

And Preliminary Framing for the Compressor/Utility room

With winter weather coming fast, I needed to get the stairwell, at the very least, primed.  I also got the final pieces of sofit installed above the back door of the garage, as well as reinstalled the gutters on the house.  The downspout it yet to be installed.  For now, the 4" drain-tile pipe will do.

Next up was a brain fart idea.  Originally I had thought about building a compressor closet in the garage, or hanging a deck off the garage to house the compressor.  Then I started thinking about the huge patio we have below the deck, and the decent sized slab that is already there.  DUH!  So I started framing it in.  Didnt get very far, however.  While boring holes to set wedge anchors in the slab, my 1/2 Hammer drill gave up on me.  So I had to quit, and the drill went in for repairs.  The Compressor/Utility room will be 6'x7', and will be big enough for the compressor and all necessary plumbing, the lawn mower, and all yard tools.
