House Prep

For the garage to share the existing wall with the house, I have to remove most of the eave. 

I started this evening.  Stripped the soffit, removed any extra framing, and cut the eave off from the roof using a sawzall. 

I managed to get one eave off.  The front overhang will stay, and will tie into the new garage wall.  The entire rear eave must be removed, including the overhang.  I will also have to remove a bit of the deck, to frame in the wall where the rear door will be.
