Forms 2
Once the forms were in place, we could drop in some steel.
The eastern side of the garage footing has two steps, so running rebar continuous was a bit tricky. The rebar was hung from scrap 2x4 I salvaged from the car-port, keeping the steel six inches from the bottom of the footing.
Also note the Ground rod. This is a full length of continuous rebar (20 ft) that will provide a ground point for the electrical service. There is 14 feet in the footing, and 6 feet sticking up. The rod will run thru the entire stem wall and bottom plate of the wall.
