Electrical Service

Due to the location of the existing service entrance, A new service entrance was required.  The new service entrance will be on the side of the garage.  This will supply the garage with power.  Within the garage's main load center there will be a 125AMP breaker that will run the house.  The house load center will be sub-rated from 200AMP to 125AMP. 

Today, I dug the trench for the new line.  Luckily, the existing line is direct buried (not in conduit) so the power company is allowing me to do the same.  This saves both time and money.

I dug the majority of the trench with an excavator.  The rest will be dug by hand.
