One method to Boom a Wall

A large part of the success of this project was this sneaky way to lift the walls.  We used two standard Simpson Hold-Downs, combined with 3/4 high grade bolts, washers, and some sweet items scored at the local Fasten-all store.

The hardware is installed prior to house wrap and siding, and is then removed after booming the wall into place.  Later on, when we build the front wing walls for the garage header, we will reuse the hold downs for their designed purpose.
